Why they appear ?
Bed bugs travel in luggage, clothing, used furniture and belongings. They can also move between units. An infestation is not a sign of poor housekeeping.

Before our visit: checklist
Pest-specific illustrations: final instructions depend on the planned treatment.
1Notify the owner or property manager immediately and photograph evidence.
2Declutter affected rooms without moving unsealed belongings to other apartments.
3Bag bedding and textiles before moving them; use a hot dryer cycle of at least 30 minutes when fabric care permits.
4Keep treated fabrics in clean, sealed bags or bins.
5Provide access to beds, baseboards and furniture; do not discard mattresses without instructions.
6Vacuum areas as directed; seal vacuum waste and dispose of it outside.
7Do not use bug bombs or move your sleeping area to another room without advice.
After treatment: prevention and upkeep
- Check second-hand furniture and luggage after travel.
- Use appropriate bed bug encasements when recommended.
- Watch for activity after treatment and attend follow-up visits.
- Avoid moving potentially infested items into neighbouring units.
Important: these general guidelines do not replace treatment-specific, product-label or property-specific instructions. NESTO will confirm safety precautions, re-entry times and final preparation. Tell us about pregnancy, asthma, limited mobility or pets before the visit.
For property managers
Coordinate access, notify neighbouring units when recommended, and record sightings by unit. More than one visit may be required.
