Why they appear ?
Warmth, moisture, food and hiding places help cockroaches survive. They can arrive in boxes, appliances or furniture and move between apartments through gaps. Their presence does not automatically mean a unit is poorly maintained.

Before our visit: checklist
Illustrative photos of preparation tasks. Exact instructions will be confirmed for your treatment.
1Photograph sightings and report them to building management promptly.
2Provide access under sinks, near baseboards and behind kitchen appliances; do not move heavy appliances yourself.
3Store food in sealed containers; discard contaminated food and take out garbage.
4Clean crumbs, grease and dishes; report water leaks.
5Follow NESTO’s specific instructions before emptying cabinets; preparation depends on the treatment plan.
6Do not use bug bombs, sprays or other pesticides before our visit.
After treatment: prevention and upkeep
- Store food and pet food in sealed containers.
- Keep surfaces dry and fix leaks.
- Use closed garbage bins; reduce cardboard and clutter.
- Report new sightings quickly; nearby units may also need inspection.
Important: these general guidelines do not replace treatment-specific, product-label or property-specific instructions. NESTO will confirm safety precautions, re-entry times and final preparation. Tell us about pregnancy, asthma, limited mobility or pets before the visit.
For property managers
Coordinate access, notify neighbouring units when recommended, and record sightings by unit. More than one visit may be required.
